Lil Wayne has responded to his placement on Billboard\u2019s controversial \u201c50 Greatest Rappers Of All Time\u201d list, which saw him ranked at No. 7.<\/p>\n

Amid talks about the project, its Swizz Beatz-produced single \u201cKant Nobody\u201d with the late DMX, Tunechi remarked that he is simply not concerned with the ranking as he\u2019s confident that everyone knows he\u2019s really the G.O.A.T.<\/p>\n \u201cMan, who the hell is before me?\u201d Wayne questioned. \u201cWas the list including ALL Hip Hop, like before and after as well? I can deal with that\u2026 I will tell you that I am a muthafuckin\u2019 one. Everybody whose names you named, they also know I\u2019m number one. Go ask \u2019em. They know what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n Ahead of Wayne on the list, in reverse order, were Biggie Smalls, Eminem, 2pac, Nas, Kendrick Lamar and JAY-Z.<\/p>\n Despite proclaiming himself No. 1, Wayne recently confirmed that, in his book, Hov remains the greatest rapper ever.<\/p>\n \u201cThe greatest rapper of all time is Shawn \u2018JAY-Z\u2019 Carter,\u201d he declared on a November episode of Marcellus Wiley\u2019s More to It podcast. \u201cWhen you do this rapping thing, obviously like football, every sport is different. You play hockey, I\u2019m sure they got something that they only know about. Something that they probably can\u2019t explain, but only they know. That thing in rap, that we only know in rap, he has that. He\u2019s the Tom Brady of that.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere in his new interview with Apple Music, Weezy gave a little insight on what fans can expect from the forthcoming C6.<\/p>\n \u201cEverybody already know,\u201d Lil Wayne said. \u201cYou already know. Come on \u2013 it\u2019s Carter 6. I never even imagined. That didn\u2019t even sound right years ago. I can\u2019t believe we\u2019re at Carter 6. My fans know I give my all. Go listen to my last feature and know it\u2019s gonna be a thousand times better than that.\u201d<\/p>\n While he has yet to set a release date for the LP, Lil Wayne has kicked off his roll out with the release of the DMX-assisted single and a tour announcement.<\/p>\n \n The 28-city Welcome To Tha Carter tour kicks off on April 4 at The Fillmore in Minneapolis.
