2 Chainz has gotten up close and personal with what some are calling \u201cthe future\u201d after meeting a Tesla robot in the, um, flesh.<\/p>\n

The Atlanta rap veteran posted a video on Instagram capturing his encounter with Optimus, the new humanoid robot that was unveiled by Elon Musk on Thursday (October 10).<\/p>\n

In the clip, Tity Boi can be heard having a full conversation with the robot, asking it: \u201cHey buddy! How you doing, man? It\u2019s nice to meet you?\u201d<\/p>\n

The robot replies: \u201cIt\u2019s nice to meet you,\u201d before introducing itself as Optimus.<\/p>\n

2 Chainz, who seemingly stuns the robot for a few seconds by introducing himself as \u201cToni,\u201d then tries to get to know the Tesla invention a little better by asking if it can \u201cplay basketball\u201d and \u201cshoot jumpshots.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHmmm. Maybe one day. Can you?\u201d it replies, to which the rapper says: \u201cI\u2019ll teach you.\u201d<\/p>\n
