Justin Bieber<\/a>\u00a0has joined as a co-headliner for the\u00a0FIFA World Cup<\/a>\u00a0Final halftime show.<\/p>\n

Bieber joins\u00a0the previously announced\u00a0<\/a>headliners\u00a0Madonna<\/a>,\u00a0Shakira<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0BTS<\/a>\u00a0for the halftime performance, scheduled to take place July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium. Additional performers include Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus, made up of 4th and 5th graders from an elementary school in Staten Island, who will be featured alongside Coldplay. Coldplay\u2019s Chris Martin is curating the 11-minute halftime show.<\/p>\n

The halftime show is produced by Global Citizen and will help raise funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which has a goal of raising $100 million to expand access to education and football for children worldwide. Kermit, Miss Piggy and some of the Muppets will also appear in the halftime show, in an effort to underscore the educational message.<\/p>\n

The show will mark Bieber\u2019s first public performance since his much-discussed headlining set at Coachella back in April.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can,\u201d Bieber said. \u201cI\u2019m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it\u2019s already helping expand access to education for children around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

A dollar from every ticket sold to the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches is being donated throughout the tournament, in addition to financial commitments from\u00a0Prime Minister Carney of Canada and Prime Minister Montenegro of Portugal.<\/p>\n

Shakira<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Burna Boy<\/a>\u00a0collaborated on \u201cDai Dai,\u201d which is the official song for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Dudamel and the Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela served as the opening act for Coldplay during their 10-night London residency in 2025. Live Nation and Done + Dusted are also producing the show, which is meant to bring together global artists.<\/p>\n
