Revenge is a dish best served after it’s been set out to chill. Following his epic battle with Kendrick Lamar, Drake might be ready to get back at everyone who gave him the cold shoulder with a new solo album he’s been teasing for the past several months titled Iceman.

Drake Teases New Album
Aubrey has been doing some frigid foreshadowing for the past several months. Back in February, he teased the LP during an Anita Max Win Tour stop in Australia.
“Eventually, when the time is right, Drizzy Drake alone by himself is gonna have to have a one-on-one talk to y’all,” he told the Australian crowd. “When the time is right, I’ll be back with another album—a one-on-one conversation with y’all that you need to hear.”
The following month, he shared an ominous message on Instagram that appeared to reference his return. “U know I grew up non confrontational and always treated this game as a sport where my pen won gold, but my these days the podium has been hard for all of us to ignore,” it read.
“I understand that this next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy, but I hope you see my honesty as clarity not charity that answers some questions especially about the unanswered texts you’ve been sending me,” Drake added.

Since then, Drake’s provided more icy implications. In April, he appeared on a livestream with Adin Ross where he teased the new album. He did so while rocking a hoodie with “ICEMAN KIMI” stitched on it—a nod to F1 legend Kimi Räikkönen.
The following month, Drake shared an Instagram post with a carousel of photos with the caption “Iceman.” The post featured a signed George Gervin jersey—a former NBA legend known as the Iceman. The other pictures included iced-out jewelry and a painting of an icy mountain scene.

Ashanti and Nelly opened up about their rocky past and plans for the future in a new reality series that follows their life as partners and parents.

Ashanti and Nelly didn’t hold back in the teaser for their upcoming reality series Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together, where the couple opened up about the bitterness that followed their 2013 breakup and the unexpected path that led them back to each other.
The Hip-Hop duo, now married and raising a son, sat side by side in a confessional moment from the show, reflecting on the emotional fallout of their split.
“I hated her,” Nelly admitted. Ashanti echoed the sentiment with, “I hated him.” She added, “I didn’t think that we would get back together,” before Nelly smiled and said, “She got me y’all!”
The series, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at their life as newlyweds and parents while juggling demanding careers, is set to chronicle their journey from estranged exes to a committed couple.
The two tied the knot in December 2023 and welcomed their first child, a son, in July of the same year.
In the trailer, Ashanti reflects on how their relationship has evolved since their earlier days. “We have grown. We’re adults,” she said. Nelly followed up with, “But we’re still trying to have fun.”
Earlier this year, Ashanti told E! News that the couple is planning to expand their family.
“We’re going to add some more,” she said. “Definitely a girl to balance it out. I’m outnumbered in the house right now. So a girl would be great.”
Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together is expected to premiere later this year.

Minimum purchase is $1.00. Sale ends July 7, 2025.

Lil Wayne has replaced Kendrick Lamar as having the top rap album on Billboard’s Hip Hop Albums chart.
Source: HipHopDX
Tha Carter VI may have failed to land the top spot on the Billboard 200, being kept to number two by country star Morgan Wallen but it is now the number one rap album in the US.
Kendrick Lamar’s GNX had been the number one rap album for the prior seven weeks but Wayne’s first week album sales are enough to send him over the Compton superstar.
It is only the ninth week of the entire year where GNX has not been the number one rap album.
In its first week on sale, Tha Carter VI sold 108,000 equivalent units.
In comparison, Wayne’s last solo album, Funeral, debuted at number one and sold 139,000 equivalent units in its first week of release.
It is also a significant drop off from Tha Carter V‘s opening week sales of 480,000 in 2018.
The album also garnered the lowest debut week sales for any entries in Tha Carter series as well as Wayne’s entire near 30 year career.
Tha Carter VI was perhaps most notable for its eclectic features which includes U2 lead singer, Bono.
The two link up on the anthemic “The Days” which was previously debuted during a promo for the NBA Finals.
On the track, Wayne references his status as an elder statesman in Hip Hop, rapping: “I ain’t getting younger, but I’m getting better / No time to waste that’s another man’s treasure / They say every dog has hit day.”
